This is where we sit down and get to know each other. You'll tell me about yourself, your event, your style, your likes and dislikes. I take notes on everything so your personality shows in every detail of your piece.
Consultations can be done in person at my place in Midrand, or virtually over WhatsApp — whichever works best for you.
Got a reference photo or some inspiration? Please send it over on WhatsApp after booking your consultation. This helps me understand exactly what you're going for — whether it's a specific neckline, silhouette, colour or vibe.
No idea yet? No problem. We can explore ideas together during the consultation.
I source fabric on your behalf. Once I find options that match your vision, I'll send you photos of the fabric selections before purchasing anything — so you have full say in what goes into your piece.
Your measurements are taken to ensure your piece fits your body perfectly. This can be done during your in-person consultation or guided virtually over WhatsApp — all you need is a measuring tape.
Luu Onsela caters for all shapes and sizes. No standard sizing. Every measurement is unique to you.
Once we've agreed on the design, fabric and pricing, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and get started. The remaining 50% is due on collection of your finished piece.
With your deposit confirmed and fabric approved, I start crafting your piece. Every garment is made by hand, with care and attention to every detail — from the stitching to the finish.
Most pieces are completed within 2 to 3 weeks. For more complex garments, turnaround time will be discussed upfront.
Once your garment is complete, you'll be booked in for a fitting. You collect your piece, settle the remaining 50% balance, and walk away wearing something made just for you.
